Ducks Patch

The KL Bird Park was an interesting place. It probably was fantastic place when it opened, but like most things time as worn away the appearance and maintance has been light. But there are still a lot of interesting birds. Still worth a visit. Stephan Even got his ear eaten but an owl. Great place to visit with kids. But be warned. It is hot inside the aviaries. Catch you next time, when I describe getting lost in the taxi........

We went to the KLCC to explore the fish. This was well worth it. They had lot more then just fish. Insects from the forest. Things to touch and play with. Fish to Feed. And everything is well marked and labelled. A great learning experience for young and old. Well worth the money.

This weekend we went to Batu Caves. We looked at going on a guided tour but decided to go it alone this time. Took a taxi from the hotel to Batu caves RM12. not bad... Climbing the 273 step took a bit of time. They are stright up almost. We found the monkeys on the way up. the temple at the top was not clean and was wet and slippery. This was a dissappointment.

Well this weekend was different. First we went to the petonia towers. Inside was a science centre for tourist. Stephan got to enjoy him self there, with Oil rigs and big ugly friends. After that we went to China town. this was interesting but I have seen better in Phuket. So after this we went back to Lo Yat Plaza to buys mum her laptop. Interesting weekend...

The KL skyline is not like Auckland. A lot of Skyscrpers and plenty of space between them. As the sun sets the building gather new colour. but the smog blocks the long distance view

A Nice Gathering Place to relax. Stephan Shows the size of the Lanson Place. The Lanson Place has many levels on it. All the rooms surround the outside leave a bueatifull Attrum in the middle. The pool is very relaxing as well

Well we are now in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur to be exact. We are now staying in the Lanson Place. A nice serviced appartment block. The view is of the towers and KLCC. More details to come.
