Ducks Patch

 The Mulch Pit is just down the hill. I go about once a week to it, sometimes twice to collect a truckload of Mulch It's actually chipping mulch from the shredders that the tree guys work on, sometimes they leave heaps of it, and sometimes it is low for a week or two. We use it extensively in the garden. Nara loves running around in it and digging for rabbits I get about 2mtrs on the back of the truck with each load.  The Tubs help me carry more. as it is quite light stuff

While at the hairdresser having an overdue haircut, of my long white hair. A small girl probably about 3 years old, came over me and asked, “Are you Santa Claus”. I responded, “Even Santa needs a haircut”. She quickly ran back to her Mum and telling her, I was Santa   Her Mum told her, she had to sit still and be good for Santa, The hairdresser laughed and continued the haircut, Meanwhile the little girl sit perfectly still with a smile on her face,   When The hairdresser had finished, she slipped me a Lollypop and I paid the bill.   As I went Out , I knelt in front of the little girl and told her “Please stay on the nice list, not the naughty list, and gave her the Lollypop”.   She shouted she would, As I winked to her Mum. As I walked out her Mum had a smile that was memorable . And a little girl shouting she knows Santa.   As for me, I had a warm smile that I had made a little girl’s day.
