Lazy Sunday.

So we got back from Cape Paterson Late,

So we decided to Sleep in.

Yah right.

Two Dogs and daughter

No room for me.

Cleaning the dogs.

OK, while at Emma's place Nara had to find a Cow pat to roll in.

So put her on the back of the truck and took the dogs to the beach to run in the surf.

Where they had extra fun chasing stick in the surf.

Off to Cape Paterson to see Cherie

Janet had come over to see little Cherie, So off we went to visit them.

Gemma got in First to Hold her
Then Jennifer

Finally I got to Hold this new Little One.
Meanwhile Jennifer and Janet had to Catch up.
In the Hammock of Course.

Peonies are out again

The Peonies in the Garden are looking good this year, with about 30 Flowers on them.

The care we have been giving them is paying off.

The Galloway Hoard

A collection of Viking-age artifacts found in Scotland, currently on display at Melbourne Museum.

We had seen similar when we were in York but to see it here in Melbourne
We had to travel to the Museum and see them.

The Artifacts were beautiful and bought memories.

Emma's New Baby

Emma finally delivered the little Cherie on the world.
She was 2 weeks late and 9lb.
Hope to see her soon.

Upgraded Parking Area

Parking at House has always been an issue.

When we moved in, the Carport was falling down and only room for one car.

And that one couldn't turn around.

First , I enlarged the area at the end of driveway by removing a tree.

So we could park two car. but could not turn around.

Reversing in and out was Pain.

So Stephen Rota came was his Digger and dug out the old carport area for two cars.

Now two cars can park there.

But events would stuff us up.

Jennifer now has work van.

But at least we can now turn around in the driveway.

Paulines Family is Growing

Pauline's Family is growing. She recently sent a photo of all her little babies.

Man are they growing fast.

HobbySew Knox is now running

Hobbysew on the 6th of September finally opened.
It took almost 3 weeks from scratch to finish.

Both Jennifer and myself worked with the team to make it happen,
it was great achievement for us all.

New Driveway parking is going in.

Brother Rota came in on Tuesday to cutout the new carpark on the side of the driveway.
There were some large bolders that needed to be be buried and moved.
All was going well

We believe the maps that said the utilities were a Metre from the fence
Well they weren't, it appears they were 3 metres from the fence.

So now I have to get a plumber in to fix a bent pipe.
But he foundations are now none,
Now comes that rest of the work.

Evelyns Birthday Party

After the long drive to Mudgee, finally, Gemma got to put on the Party for Evelyn. Turning 5 is special, so it had to be a big party.

So the Royal Rodeo was started.

It started with the Banner and Photo's

The Cake had been purchased in Melbourne, and put together by Gemma on the day.

And it went so Well

The food was eaten and cake cutting went without a hitch.

Then was play time with your inflatable horse and balloons.

Now thats a party.

Magnus had issues with his Cowboy hat, so Pop Pop fixed that for him.

Evelyn enjoyed herself so much. Gemma-ann did a Great job......

The birthday girl had a smile that lasted days.

Evelyn tried Jalapino Chips.

Evelyn saw that Dad had Jalapino Chips. so She wanted to try them.

I told her to have some water ready,
The result was No tears , but that she didn't like them.

Good on her for trying them.

Pop Pop arrives in Mudgee

When we got to Mudgee, Magnus and Evelyn help us unpack. And out came the presents.

Magnus found the lollipop's and they were allowed them after Dinner.

Fairy Wrens in the Garden

I have been working hard in the garden on fine days cleaning the wood from the fallen trees.

Around me would be the firy wrens feeding, they are very small and hard to photograph.

I sat still one and let them get close. Click click and I had a few Photo's of these bouncy little birds.

40th Wedding Anniversary

Well, to me surprise and many other, we finally made it to 40years being Married.

We went out for small dinner at Pig and Whistle. Disappointed at the food, but still a good evening.

40 Years is a LONG TIME.

Mum and Nara.

Nara has reached 4 years old. and so has settled and become very relaxed.

Still insists on a walk in the Morning, and the play before bedtime, but loves a cuddle.
