While the Kids were here we got them to feed the birds
of Course the king Parrots would come down.
They got so friendly that they would feed directly from us.
These are Wild birds
You can understand why they are rare
Digger play and the Temple
By the 30th Grandma and Granddad needed
Timeout, So Gemma and Jakob took the kids out to
Diggerland Play ground.
Magnus was in Heaven
Afterwards they swung by the Temple
The flowers were out and Evelyn loved them

Museum Trip with the kids
On the Monday we decided since it was going to be HOT,
the Melbourne Museum was the place to go.
The kids were older and could have more fun their
First display was the forest,
it was feeding time and kids saw the birds, lizards and fish.

Then and tram ride or two to get Donuts
The chocolatier
We needed to get the kids out of the house
so the Yarra Valley Chocolatier was the place to go.
The kids had seen the chocolates before but the day
was great to wonder and play at the grounds.
Especially after eating Ice Cream.
Water Play with Evelyn
Ok, giving Evelyn a water cannon for Christmas maybe was not a good Idea,
But she loved playing with and anyone or dog that was in range was a target.
Who knew that dog-water bowls made great filling stations
Kids at Christmas - well 2 days after Christmas
Due to Lissa being sick we had Christmas with the kids two days late,
Jakob drove down on Boxing Day with them. Thats 13 Hours of Driving with two small kids.
Well done to him.
SO the Day after boxing day we had Christmas with the Grandchildren.
Of Course Evelyn got makeup and she tried it straight away.

On Christmas Eve, it was Cold, Yes Cold in Melbourne with a High of just 4`
The mist rolled in and that turned into a cold rain.
And yes, Tasmania has snow.
