Yallourn trip

Well thing are very quiet around here as I am trying to spend most of my time looking for work.
I recently for for a Job interview out in Yallourn. This is a mining down. Brown coal for power stations.
Not very exciting as you couldn't get close to them.

Bushfire Area

The Bushfires in Melbourne have been to the north of us, about one hours drive north, Jennifer and I went through there about mid October. These are photo's from the trip when we went through the bush.

Thank you for your calls, but we are well away from this disaster. Our prayers are with those that lost lives and love ones.

Fire Station Visit

The youth from the church got a chance to go for tour of Ringwood Fire-station
They got to see all the engines and more but due tot he water restrictions could not play with the water.

Government House Melbourne Tour

On Aussie day, the Government House was open for tours., a fund raising activity for Rotary club.
So Stephan and Dad got a chance to go through. We both had seen better in Malaysia but still this place had a lot of style..

This house is not used as a house anymore, just for functions.

Aussie day cars

On Aussie day, they had a major car show up on the shine park.
Stephan and Dad went there and enjoy seeing the cars in the heat.
Some good old classic's were they and some strange ones that should be left at home.

Good chance to see them on show.

Phillip Island trip

Phillip Island is about two hours drive from Melbourne.

It was inhabited by little blue penguins many years ago but now is a holiday island for those from melbourne.
The adams had invited us over to there holiday home. All we did was eat and sleep, and occasionally go out to the rocks to see the scene.


It was a nice place to relax and chill out. Again another pleasant weekend.

Ocean road trip with Davin

Well we went on the Great Ocean Road with Davin.





We saw the coastline and even went to see some waterfalls.
Davin even got to scare some of the wildlife.
A pleasant day out.
