Winter Blues

Well winter has set in again here.  This year is cold and wet.  We have the flu's to go with it too.
Gemma is still at school and working, waiting to graduate in a couple of weeks.
Lissa is back at school and still working.
Stephan Just at School although about to do practical work experience in an up market fish and chip shop just up the road.

Jennifer and me are still working and wishing we were back in a warm place with friends again.

As for Me, I'm off to New Zealand next week for a few days.

Shen Yun Performance

last night Jennifer and I went to see the Shun Yen dance group. This is a traveling group of performers that do the classical dance styles of China. Great show except for the occasional singers. The music and dancing we're great. Something you don;t see in China now due to the art being lost. Another great night out to watch a show. We're going to miss this when we're living out at point cook.
For us now it a short tram ride to the theatre.

Overworked and Overstressed

It's the middle of winter and jennifer is studying hard, as for me, it just work , 55 hour weeks and still not getting very far. Most of the free time we have is looking for things for the new home.

Finally we starting the build

Yes, Got news this morning that built is to start, Ground could be cleared by the end of the week. Pipes down next week with the slab down first week in May. Photo's soon the follow once we have confirm that build has started. It has now been more then 6 months in the planning process stage. so please check out the house site.

Lissa loves playing with Snakes

Lissa went to her boy friends and his father has snakes for a hobby.

She's going to have to get use to that I suppose

Easter Weekend

Easter was very quiet this year.
It was spent having a small drive around the Melbourne Beaches on the Saturday, Mum stayed at home to study.
On the Monday
We played a game or two as a Family.

Noticed Lissa was Happy. Netbook close by, Book and chocolate in Hand.

A very boring quiet Easter.

Melbourne Flower Show

The Melbourne Flower show was this weekend and Jennifer and I thought as we have a garden to design and build ( or more to the point for me to build. We decided to go and see the Melbourne flower show. It's a lot smaller then the Ellislie Flower show but we did find a lot of the specialist nurseries that we would like to deal with.
We also got lot of potential ideas. Jennifer got to see the Irises that I was thinking about and the clumping bamboos that could be interesting in the Japanese garden. Still could not find the statue were interest in.

That is going to be a major problem to find. But we're going to keep looking.
Still a good show to go to.
