Birds making our new home

 We have a bird feeder out the front.

It gets visited by Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo's, Crimson Rosella's  

and of course the stray chook called "Gloria" 

New home in Kalorama

 We have finally moved into the home in the hills

Getting the house furniture into the house proved to be the first issue
The walk way up to the house is steep.
And doing it 42 in one day proved to be very strenuous.
Jennifer tried her best but it was only 7 weeks before that she had surgery
We had some members of the church come and assist to move some of the very heavy stuff

We still have some stuff at the other house but we have decided to get a Commercial Carrier to do the moving of the large items.

So what happened in the first week.

Visits from lots of Parrot’s, Cockatoo’s,  a Wallaby and one stray chock.
The Weather was the worse it imagine, High winds, Rain, Sleet, and Snow, but the Sun is out today.

 We have start on doing the alternations to the dinning room and opening that area up into the lounge.
In the garden we can now see the huge task ahead of us to regenerate the once great gardens back to lifeLet the mission begun.
In the meantime, I am still bring things up to the house from the carport, that is 20 metres below.

And the views I see in the morning walk are fantastic. Towards the city.

 Evelyn was born on the 13 August 2020, Both Mum and Baby are doing well. 

We are now Grandparents and Lissa is a Mum.

 

 

 

 

 

Going for Walks takes on a whole new meaning.

We now now back in COVID-19 Lockdown again.

So going out for a walk means escaping cabin fever

I walk with a mask now, that causes my glasses to fog up if I breath to fast.

Not many people are out and about and the house sale is going very slow.

The first of the baby swans are out for the season and they

dont seem to worry about people getting close.

But that will chnage with time.

Selling the House - we're on the move again

It seemed strange doing it again, but Jennifer and Me have itchy feet again.

We seem to be getting into a pattern here.

We lived in Te Awamutu for 8-9 years, 

then moved to Becker Drive for 3 years, 

before moving to  Bill Phillip for 8 years, then to Malaysia for 2 years, 

before moving to Australia, soon moving to Point Cook, 

and after 8 years moved to England for 2+ years, 

so now we're back and we just couldn't find this as home, time to move again.

So FOR SALE, a large house in Point Cook

It is a doorway at St Mawes Castle.

None were Born there but two are buried nearby at St-Just-in-Roselands

Quick Visit to Lissa

We succeed in getting up to Dubbo to Visit Lissa. 

  

Australia is vast and boring to travel in.

 

We got to play with the Dogs and gave them new nic names. 

They got called Mac and Cheese

We went out and let Mac chase his ball, and watch jakob run and fetch as well and MAC has poor eye sight sometimes.

 We went for a drive to Orange to do some baby shopping.

and relaxed in the park.

Got to see the baby growing and kicking. the little princess is due in August
