This weekend we went to High Wycombe, The first thing I noticed was the ride Kites, The Chilterns are famous for them. For someone like me who loves Raptors, the sight of amazing

Grand canal Part 2
I went for walk this Sunday, so I went to do the other side of the Grand Canal.
This part of the canal heads out of town.
End this is where a lot of the holiday canal boats are stored.
On my way home I heard something strange, it was a machinery sound that was rhythm, so I went to investigate. I found this machine on the way home, It levels tracks. This is for therains when they are at 80Mph and still be run smooth. Basically big Spikes are pushed into the Stones, and lift the rails and few millimeters, and leveled by laser. big pressures obviously in the running of this machine.
Runnymede
Saturday was back again. and this time we headed for the National Trust site called Runnymead.
From Slough it as easy as catching the catching the No8 Bus. So we headed to out of Sough to Windsor and old, upto Royal Halloway before heading to Egham. About a 30minute Bus ride.
Once at Egham we headed across to the south end of Runnymede. Site of the Magna Carta being sealed more than 800 years ago. This is is not much more than paddocks now. From the South, we head along the River Thames north towards the National Trust Buildings and Monuments.
The river was very peaceful
The river was busy also we Corporate Lion Boats passing.
So we kept walking north.
Across the paddocks seeing works and moles everywhere.
Once at the monuments we explored.

It was probably the most impressive
But the Main Monument is the Chairs of the Jurors
All the chairs have special designs
Jenny having studied about the Manga Carta
Finally the J F Kennedy Monument.
Surprisingly it was very special.
And what a View
Oh the way Back home we got to see Windsor again.
But there was the Bus ride home with a special Lady.
Missing London
We missed London so Saturday we went back there for a quick trip in and out LOL.
The day started with us catching the Train into Paddington and then across London to Candem Market.
Jennifer enjoyed herself and got some clothes.
I enjoyed walking through Camden Market
as you get to see lots of new items and people of speaking many languages.
Once we finished walking around the Market.
We headed into Tube again, to head for Borough Market.
Where we got a few thing including Lunch, Lamb rolls and Lamb salad.
Once we left, we headed for St Pauls
We then headed for stroll around towards SOHO,
where we relaxed and Stopped in Liberty
We finally got home late and exhausted, but London had given herself to us again.
Windsor day out number 1
Well Saturday came and I was in No mode to go shopping anymore.
So on went the walking shoes. We walked to Windsor the long way through Datchet.
We had decided that last time we were in Windsor we hadn't had the time to look around Windsor.
Walking along the Thames into Windsor
Then up past the Castle.
To the Long walk.
This walk is 3.5 Miles long. and NO we did not walk the length, just enough to know that we would be back. The Windsor grounds and Queens park would look better is spring so plans are afoot to be back regularly.
In the town are lots of statues and memorials.
This one is to the Irish Guards.
We stopped in town at the Carpenters Arms and had a Pub Lunch.
It was more dinner but delightful.
And yes it sounds fun, we walked out of pub after having lunch.
Aftet hat we walked around the town and admired the old buildings.
But rain was coming in so off we went heading for home.
Down by the Thames river are lots of White swans, these swans a friendly and will come up close to you, there is someone official watching you all the time to make sure you don't hurt them and they don't hurt you. And a loaf of bread we be gone faster the you can hold it in your hand.
So off we went home cutting through Eton and Eton park to get back home.
Result is we will be back as we can see the scenery changing with the seasons.
Eton and beyond.
Slough is a boring town but it has so much around it, The first Saturday was spent buys stuff for the flat. And during the week Jennifer went exploring as she went to buy more stuff.
So on Saturday the 18th Feb. Jennifer took me out shopping for the Items that were to heavy for her to carry like a microwave etc.
In the afternoon though she got chance to show me what is on the door step. ETON College.
On the way we past the Slough Allotment, these one are tidy and need and next to the M4 highway.
Then we Cut across the park to Eton. Spring is just around the corner.
Eton College was closed to the public as it was the end of the Mid term break. But Eton as a town was beautiful.
And its just on the doorstep of Windsor.
We past ashop in Eton with Uniforms and suit and saw this T Shirt.
We thought and laugh about/with Lissa
But it was the walk in the Park with Jennifer that I enjoyed.
