Aachen - Germany is the Home Charlemagne

But breakfast first at the bakery, Jennifer loved her Apple donut.

It is carnival Season, so lots of Parades, Some were very small.

We found them in no time and headed in that direction.

Passed the Fountain with the funny Men.

They could have easily been Englishmen

Passed the flower market

And into the Dom.

CharleMagnesDom was impressive. It was basically
around building with small parts off the side.
The artwork was not what we had seen in 

The dom was impressive

Very fine details in Mosaic

And the windows were Impress as well

But it was the Dom that was the star

But the Windows were still impressive

The Pulpit was just a small side room.

The statues modest

And the exterior was not flash.

There were statues of Charlemagne throughout
the town 

After Charlemagne's Dom, we walked through town. 

Eventually finding ST Johann Baptist Church

This one was in Stark contrast to the Dom.

But lots of small statues
SO off we went to the next stop.
