Last walk in Bermondsey

Well, we have finally had to move, this is due to Another guest that booked into the apartment months ago so we cannot extend. So before we moved I decided to walk to the O2 Stadium and see the Thames Barrier if Possible.
So the Friday before we moved, I headed to Greenwich and beyond.
The Lake in Southwark Park was frozen, But walking was brisk, So I kept warm.
I got lost near the stadium and checked the map. I was only 100 Meters from the Thames.
When I came out, The Barrier was to the East, and the walkway finished.
To the east was the Cableway. Not that impressive.
The tide was out so things were high and dry.
But walking around the stadui, you begin to realise, this is one ugly building. The design is good, but all the equipment and utilities that stick out of it, make it ugly.
But I did walk around it.
The Thames walk reveals a lost about London, Here Big Machine had to unload stone and sand, and then load the build-mud from the city. The machinery had to stop every time a walker went in the zone, just to keep the walker safe, a security guard would escort them. but they crossed the Thames walk and that's was the rule.
I also got to see this little Hospital that is still in use since 1616.
