London Museum

Well, the weekend arrived and a chance to get out of the little damp room.
So off to the British Museum, last time I went through it, Jennifer was suffering Jet lag and awesomeness syndrome.  So this time we went to slow down.
target was the Enlightenment room and actually look at the displays.
As usual not much light unless the sunlight came in the windows. Late Winter in England, So not much.
 It wasn't overcrowded either
And the displays were great.

Like this first edition of Charles Darwin's "The Origins ofSpecies"
Or Royal Medals to show history

Or Royal Mint Sovereigns  and a whole lot more, we spend over 2 hours in this one room.
We then went and had lunch at the St-Martin-in-the-Fields.
We then walked down to Westminister Abbey and checked it out. The sun was out and you could see the Skyline of then buildings.
 They are beautiful buildings
Big Ben tolled again to remind us we had been out to long, and the traffic was building up again.
Little did we know the week ahead of us would result in us not seeing it again for a while.
It seems strange to think of Big Ben as a friend.
