Malacca Town of great history and cultures

Then onto Malacca. This is a town with so much history that it oozes it.
First were the Sultan's, then Chinese, then Portuguese, then Dutch,
Then English, then Japanese, ten English again, now the tourist.......

First stop was a famous food shop for Chinese Chicken rice balls. This
local speciality had people queuing up for it and Mike had arranged a
table for us so we just walked in. This upset some of the tourist there.
But the Meal was fantastic and only cost us about RM25 ($12NZ) all up.

The museum has been a museum since 1880. So we went through the old
church 1680' then toured the museum. The museum took 2 hours to get
around and the history was fantastic.
Then Stephan and myself went for a rickshaw ride around Chinatown and
the old waterfront, then to finish up in the Portuguese area. While Mum
went shopping.
We all met back up again in the church courtyard. Finally got a photo
with Stephan and myself with a python around us.

Then to do some window shopping. The stuff here was at tourist prices
so Mike would warn us what was fair and what was not. He even would
argue the cost with some of the street vendor. Stephan thought it was
great fun.
