Carnforth is small Village on the Edge of the Lake District
We drove up from Slough to Carnforth in 6 hours,
it should have been only 4 but it was Easter weekend.
In the morning I got to take a walk
and the village is very quiet on the Good Friday.
We stayed at the Royal Station Hotel.
A 3star with potential, it was somewhere to sleep
But the Village was cute. Obviously
Had a great day in the past, but now was off the radar.
For us, the launching pad into the Lake District and Beyond.
