Powis Castle is the estate of the Clive Family in Welshpool.
It is still lived in, so No photo's on the inside.
They Loved India from many generations back and introduce peafowl to the UK.
Large statues abounded
as well as Door Knockers that were unique
The inner courtyard was built for defense and privacy.
The view from the house was amazing
It was still a Castle.
and in the gardens, it had cute statues as well.
The orangery is actually set into the hillside below the castle.
BUt what a view to enjoy on a sunny day.
