Avebury and London Christmas Lights

On the Friday afternoon, we had headed to Swindon to visit and catch up with Liz and family. As we planned to be back for the Christmas lights on Saturday we planned a fleeting visit. So with Adrian and Liz, we went back to Avebury and show Jennifer what really old history is about  almost as old as the pyramids. I love this small village as the church is very old.
St James at Avebury, this was cold but cute little church.
Jennifer was very cold as the temperature was just above zero.
 But the rocks were majestic
Then on to Avebury Manor, this was the one from the BBC program "Manor Born"
Inside was a large well equipped Kitchen and the National Trust even gave out a delicious Hot Cider made from Apple Juice. Jennifer took apicture of the recipe it was that good.
As was the different Room.
Unfortunately, the Gardens were roped off due to a disease that was in the hedges.
But it was a great morning out.

After Lunch and great Lunch from Liz, we headed back to London through Victoria Station
We caught the bus back to London and decided to head for the Christmas lights.
This is Victoria Station quiet on a Saturday Night. It never goes quiet.
A quick walk past Buckingham Palace on the way to oxford and Bond streets for the lights.
It was Cold, but we enjoyed ourselves.
