Bruge P2

Ok aftter the old chapel we went out to look around
The chapel tower was a lookout for the merchant
It is so old now, no is allowed up it.
But what a tower
So off we went to explore the quarter
we stopped at a bakery and enjoyed filled rolls that were a dream.
This is the entrance gate to old Bruge, we went through this to get into the old town.
These are around the town and were very fortified.
Old displays were all around us on fences and walls.
Bruge still his a set of working Windmills.
These are used to pump water occasionally.
Walk down the street you get see great views.

of course No trucks allowed in these streets.
But what a tidy town this was.
We headed up the canals to the center of the town
Past old churches that are now restaurants
Past statues of past great men
Passed tributes to fairy tales of the past
Saw the first Christmas shops. and we were about to find many more.
In the Main square you could imagine the old life in the town.
Now it is just Tourists.
Including the old Clock Tower
More Christmas Shops
with fascinating Christmas decoration that weren't red.
So off to the Canal Cruise, past the guild hall.
Next P3
