Windermere in th morning

Carnforth in the morning showed us today was going to be a great day. 

We were off to Beatrix Potter country

Once at Winderemere, the wind was lifting, and the views were improving

The lake was being impressive.

Only issue was everything was closed, it was 9:00 

in the morning and it was still closed on a holiday weekend.

Plenty of tourists like us looking for somewhere to find breakfast.

I was very disappointed..

Jennifer found the offical Peter Rabbit shop where 

she was restrained herself and purchase a cake stand.

At the lake edge, the tourist fed the birds and waited for the tours to being.

So we set off for the ferry to get across the lake.

The ferry ride took less then 5 minutes and wind off the lake was freezing.
