Ambleside and Beyond

We finally made it to Ambleside for Lunch.
We found the small place that National Trust have.
Yes it's the two cottage that spans a stream.
We also found a bakery that had some great food
The pies were very full of real meat and the cakes were very large and delicious.
Who would build a crazy place like this.
From there we went up the road to Grasmere
This wonderful town is a hikers paradise.
We went the the Parker house and enjoyed the views.
We also went down in the town and got some Gingerbread from the oldest Gingerbread shop int he world. This very small shop only opens for 4 hours a day and is a family run business that has been around for 250 years.
