Shugborough Hall

We walked in Shugborough Hall while raining,
This National Trust site is being siteup as it was in it's hay day.
The cattle and famr are to be run as if it was from that era
Pity, the long horn cattle were in the distance.
So first was a rush into  Servant Quarters
This was a magnificientbuild in itself.
At one point the Hall had over 100 Staff and some of their families
The Ironing required anda small Army.

The Kitchen with the coppers everywhere
But a little Stove for the Servants
And a Pantry to hold the game.

Once finish exploring the Servants Quaters we headed for the Main house
The house was a mix of Room done up as they were to display rooms like a museum.
They had fashions of the time
Room done up for different periods
Outside the Gardens were large but not over Fancy.
The Lord of this place was Businessman and Farming was his passion
Garden Folly's abounded.

On our way back out we stopped into the Farm Yard.
And into the Farm Manager's House that was attached
Again very interesting seeing what he had to work with at home.
But it had a Large Collection of Farm carriages also on display.
Overall. a good place to finish on for a wonderful weekend.
