Wray Castle

Wray Castle is an Usual Castle, It is a purpose built Holiday Castle built in the 1800's

As is was raisning I didn't get pictures.

But the castle is an importnat to the lake district

As a child Beatrix Potter came with her family for 6 months as a holiday.

from that day forward, Beatrix had a love for the area that was to last.

Inside is now a a childerns exploration place, plenty of place to hide and have fun.

It is not your usual National Trust place. 

This place is a picnic house for kids.

So we came and went.

We wanted to get to Townsend. A famr house on the far side of Windemere.
