The town clock is still chiming.
The Castle is one that has been going for a long time.

Today it is just an old fort.

It is now just basically a museum of what was there,

The views are also very extensive.
The Wallace Memorial was closed but we could see it from the Castle.
First, we explored the great hall
This has just been restored.
With the original tapestries
Then to the royal chapel, this is still used for some weddings
and has been modern restored.
Then it was onto the royal palace

The tapestries were exceptional.
The views from the Royal Palace was also exceptional
The displays of the very well detailed as well.
The castle was worth the visit.
Outside the castle are Memorials to the different
units and times the soldiers  from Modern day
