Scotland - Day Three - Time to explore and relax.

The Hotel in Onich was as hard as Rock and uncomfortable.
The breakfast was cold so we planned to drive around a bit and explore
Scotland's Isle of Mull and the surrounds we were in.
So off we went, we caught a ferry and
we were across the loch in a matter of Minutes.  The Lock was calm which was a good omen as Jennifer wasn't seasick on the ferry.

To a place where Sheep grazed next to the road.

Seals were on the rocks resting. We even got to see them in the water off the coast
The pink-footed geese were even around to be seen on this day
The scenery was just as impressive
The roads were Tar-sealed but it was like no one drove on them.

We cross again and decide to check out Glenfinnan.
This was the place the films HogwathsExpress and Also where Boonie price Charlie Landed for the Jacobite rising in 1745.
On one side of the road to the Curve Rail line, the Hogwarts Express is filmed on.
It a WW2 built the bridge to help with unloading ship from the Atlantic crossing
Made of Concrete and stone
It took a bit of Walking but we got to the top.
The views were just as expected.
All I needed was a bright red steam train.
After this, we set off for the other side.
The monument for Bonnie Prince Charles
Jennifer, as usual, gets in the way of the shots.
So After waiting for her to move along. I got my Picture
Atop of the monument, is, of course, Bonnie Prince Charles
It's not very Large but big enough to draw a crowd.
From here we moved on.
Neptune's staircase, the start of the Caledonian Canal)
This Canal cuts across Scotland, we were to see a lot of it as we cut across Loch Ness.
We decided to Climb Ben Nevis.
Ok, we walked a few hundred Metres and turned back.
 But the views were breathtaking.
The stream below was a welcome sight.
So the Weather had cleared up so we decided to head back to Glencoe Country.
Glencoe is an immense country. basically a snow desert.
But it is beautiful Scotland countryside.
After this, we went for a drive to Loch Leven
And a famous seafood Resturant.
They server shellfish from around the area and it that fresh it almost crawls onto the plate.
(note the Small buildings in the bottom of the picture, that's the restaurant)
And a place to have dinner.
 Razorbill Clams for starters
 and Langistans for Main's
This was the end to a Great Day.
Tomorrow more driving as we head for Loch Ness.
