The Lords Mayor parade is a special affair
, it goes one direction, stops for lunch and they returns on a different route to the beginning again, so if you move quickly from one stop to another you can get to see it twice.
with the Cold-stream Guard starting again,
With lots of army bands of all sorts...
And Plenty of soldiers Marching
But the horses were just as well back.
But it was the lord Mayor entourage that was special.
By the time the parade had passed for a second time, I was cold to the bone.
Forget the fireworks and I was heading home to get warm after a great day in London.
